The TnT Family 2022

So much has happened in the last 10 years that it would be impossible to catch up so instead I'll just start here and tell you what happened this past week!

Hayden is home from WSU and we are enjoying a lot of fun hang out time. His friend Joey was here visiting over Christmas and we had a great time getting to know them better. Hayden left on Monday to drive Joey back to WSU but luckily, he returned Tuesday night!! He continues to enjoy staying up really late and then sleeping longing the morning.

It snowed the day after Christmas and we enjoyed several days of sledding and snowboarding in our backyard! I have loved this house from the moment and I first saw it and perks of living here just keep getting better! On Wednesday Danica's friend Elle came over and they spent nearly 6 hours outside perfecting their jumps on the snowboard. Danica has had basketball practice nearly every day of the Christmas break but fortunately she loves basketball so she doesn't complain. They are required to take a Covid test every other day and sadly one of the girls on the team tested positive on Friday. She does not feel sick but a second test came back positive as well so her and anyone on the team who is is not vaccinated has to quarantine. They have a game this coming Tuesday and are left with only 5 players so there will be no sub!  Covid is crazy....

Alyssa has thoroughly enjoyed a lot of relaxing time just chilling in her bedroom and hanging out with her friends. She had a fun time sleeping over at Eva and Claire's house on New Year's Eve and dressing up fancy so they would be ready to welcome the new year! They were so busy getting ready they nearly missed midnight and ended up resetting their clocks so they could finish their hair and make up!

The rest of us just hung out at home on New Year's Eve.  We ate pizza, played games, tried snowboarding (but the snow had become really icy), watched a movie and then had a nerf battle sometime after midnight.

New Year's Day was filled with football and trying to prep for "regular" life next week. In the afternoon we met up with friends at the high school to play Ultimate Frisbee.  It was literally 25 degrees so we were freezing but had a great time and got to see that Hayden and Alyssa have been hiding their amazing frisbee skills all these years!  They were a great pair who scored a ton for our team! After the game we went to Red Robin for dinner and I was so happy to tell them I needed a table for 5. It's just not the same going there without Hayden. After dinner we enjoyed wandering around Target and everyone found something they couldn't live without.
